On The Big Idea, a contestant pitches a concept for a new website to a panel of Internet experts, and most importantly, the Internet users at home. The Big Idea gives users at home the power of a venture capitalist-- the power to give life to a new idea. It's a competition as fierce and provocative as any in sports, and the stakes are high: $50,000 in cash, the services of a business consultant, and website design and hosting. It's more than seed money-- it's the boost that might turn a big idea into the next big thing.
